I’m not here to stand on a stage and speak. I’m here to change work from the inside out.

You’re not just looking for a keynote speaker and facilitator. You’re looking for someone who delivers reflective wisdom to inspire your people how to be happy and successful at work.

I used to ask myself, “Do you have to be a jerk to be a leader?” Of course, the answer’s no. There’s a better way. I’ve seen it in action.

To be honest, I’ve always felt a pull between two worlds.

I spent over twenty years in leadership roles. I’ve run businesses and been an entrepreneur. In a previous role, I was the VP of customer operations for LinkedIn, leading over a thousand people.

But the truth is, I’ve been a seeker for as long as I can remember. I’ve always felt a deep connection to something bigger than myself. I began a regular contemplation practice when I was 13. In college, I started leading weekly sessions. It’s been a big part of my life ever since.

That’s why, as a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator, I’m all about talking the walk. I infuse my keynotes with practical work-based scenarios and load them with meaning and self-worth.

When we choose to focus on relationships, we gain a deeper understanding of our co-workers and our customers. We build high-performing teams and deliver products and services that make a meaningful difference in our customers’ lives.

I teach compassion as a success strategy for individuals and high-performing teams, and as a strategy for running a conscious business.

stick around if you also believe

we’re better together

because you subscribe to

showing up everyday as yourself

and you’re ready to learn how

inner peace becomes a strategy for success

So how did I get here?

Everything changed when I became Head of Mindfulness and Compassion Programs at LinkedIn

I was Mr Corporate America on the outside, but on the inside, I was battling with the desire to allow my spiritual wisdom to have a voice in the boardroom.

I worried that colleagues would dismiss my thinking as a bit ‘alternative’, and I’d lose their respect.

I was struggling with the disingenuous ways companies talked about values and mission statements, and I kept thinking, what if we all actually harnessed these values and allowed people to bring them to life in their own unique way?

I realized I needed to do more than raise my voice. I needed to shout.

So I decided to start mainstreaming mindfulness and operationalizing compassion and share it with as many people as possible.

In summer 2023, I co-founded Changing Work. It exists to lift and support solo operators and bigger organizations as they grow heart-centered, conscious businesses.

At the core of Changing Work is a collective of like-minded business practitioners who also choose to spread compassion throughout the work they do.

As a keynote speaker and facilitator, I help organizations bring ancient and everyday concepts into their business because they, too, desire a secular, inclusive, practical and powerful set of tools to rally their people.

Everyone Has A Book Inside Waiting To Be Written

Well, in 2021, I wrote mine. The Full Body Yes was a long time coming. I’ve devoted the last few years to sharing my thoughts on compassion in the workplace and using it as a force for change.

The book has allowed me to reach more people and spread the message that when we change our relationship with work, we change the world.

Life Is All About Appreciating What’s Right In Front Of Us

Time out for me is best spent in nature with my camera. I love capturing the moments that usually go unnoticed. Being hidden away in corners of the wild is absolute food for my soul.

And when I’m not wielding a camera, I’m usually jamming. Either on my guitar or in the kitchen - this past summer, I made some amazing strawberry, peach, and plum creations to enjoy with my family.

Scott gifted us with a session full of authenticity, vulnerability and practical wisdom that left our audience inspired.
